INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

this page describes how to manage the Town Ambassador portal with regards to the processing of personal data of users who consult it. This is a disclosure pursuant to art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 ‘General Data Protection Regulation’ (hereinafter RGPD) and of the current Italian legislation for the protection of personal data of those who interact with the Town Ambassador site starting from the address www.townambassador.org and not for other external websites and possibly linked to this through links.

Following consultation of the sites listed above, data relating to identified or identifiable natural persons may be processed.

3. LEGAL BASIS OF TREATMENT

The personal data indicated on this page are processed by Townambassador.org in the execution of its tasks as a public information site or in any case connected to the exercise of its mission of promoting territories and producers.

Following consultation of this site, data relating to identified or identifiable persons may be processed. Data provided freely and voluntarily by users is acquired and processed in compliance with the rules established by the RGPD for the following purposes:

• information on events and events of interest in the territories and communications to introduce products, artisans and companies that operate in the territories and that are sustainable. The data will be stored and can be used for our historical research and analysis for statistical purposes;

• fulfillment of obligations established by law, regulations, national and European legislation.

6. TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED AND PURPOSE OF THE TREATMENT

Personal data voluntarily provided by the user

When delivering and executing the services offered by the site, the user voluntarily provides some personal data (name, surname, email) for the purpose of carrying out the purposes of the individual Services. These data are collected following the completion of the specific forms, present in the individual services or as a consequence of the sending to the Data Controller of e-mails to the e-mail addresses indicated on this site; some data are essential to offer appropriate feedback to the requests made by users. In any case, the processing of sensitive and judicial data is excluded, which, if provided voluntarily by the user, will be duly deleted.

Navigation data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.

This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of computers and terminals used by users, the URI / URL (Uniform Resource Identifier / Locator) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used in the submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numeric code indicating the status of the response given by the server (success, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user’s IT environment.

These data, necessary for the use of web services, are also processed for the purpose of:

• obtain statistical information on the use of services (most visited pages, number of visitors by time or day, geographical areas of origin, etc.);

• check the correct functioning of the services offered.

Newsletter service

The personal data (name, surname, email) you provide will be processed for the sole purpose of being able to send you weekly communications through newsletters.

The provision of data is not obligatory: moreover, failure, partial or incorrect conferment of the same will make it impossible to use your data for the purposes indicated above, and therefore to be able to receive newsletters.

The subjects to whom the personal data refer have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence of the same data and to know its content and origin, verify its accuracy or request its integration or updating, or rectification (Article 7 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003).

Pursuant to the same article, one has the right to request the deletion, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, and to oppose in any case, for legitimate reasons, to their treatment.

7. RECIPIENTS OF DATA

The data will not be disclosed to third parties or disseminated, except in cases specifically provided for by national law or the European Union.

8. TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA TO COUNTRIES NOT BELONGING TO THE EUROPEAN UNION.

The data collected and processed are not transferred to companies or other entities outside the EU territory.

9. LINK TO EXTERNAL SITES

This website contains hyperlinks called “links” (ie tools that allow the connection to a web page of another site): external sites accessible via links through Town Ambassador.org are developed and managed by subjects over whom we have no ownership nor control and we are not in any way responsible for contents, quality, accuracy and services offered. Therefore, the visit and the use of the sites consulted by the user from this site via link is left exclusively to the total discretion and responsibility of the user. Therefore, this information is provided only for the Townambassador.org site and not for other websites that may be consulted by the user via links.

10. RIGHTS OF THE INTERESTED PARTIES AND CLAIM RIGHT

Interested parties may at any time exercise the rights provided by the art. 15 and ss. of the RGPD where applicable. Among these we note, in compliance with the provisions of articles 13, paragraph 2, letters b) and d): the right to request the rectification or cancellation of the registration data concerning them, the limitation of the processing or to oppose their treatment of the same, in the foreseen cases.

Interested parties who believe that the processing of personal data referring to them carried out through this site is in violation of the provisions of the RGPD have the right to lodge a complaint with the Guarantor for the protection of personal data, as envisaged by art. 77 of the RGPD, following the procedures and indications published on the official website of the Authority on www.garanteprivacy.it.
